When you become pregnant and your baby bump starts showing, you will hear everything and anything about pregnancy, birth, and parenting from strangers. We’re talkin’ the good, the bad, and the ugly. When I was pregnant, I heard so many things that I couldn’t believe people were still saying! That’s why Mary Alice and I thought it would be fun to share some of the top (not-so-nice) things people say and come up with some much better (and nicer) alternatives.

Since then, she has earned her birth and postpartum doula certifications from DONA International, her childbirth educator certification from ICEA, her perinatal nutrition expert certification through The Professional Perinatal Nutrition Program, and her infant massage instructor certification from Loving Touch, among others.
