Brittany Johnson | Teacher

Hi there! My name is Brittany Johnson, and I am a wife, mommy, and educator. By day, I wrangle a classroom full of hormonal seventh graders, trying to sell them on the importance of solid reading and writing skills. The rest of my time is spent with my precious, curly headed toddler, my agriculture loving hubby, and our two lovable labs. I couldn’t survive a day without strong coffee and an even stronger faith!

I am an advocate of thinking outside the box, and can often be found daydreaming about designing my own fashion label and dream home. Living in deep south Texas has instilled in me a love of the great outdoors, and I adore camping, fishing, and spending time at the beach with my boys. I have an obsession with a good life planner and colorful pens, can’t get enough dark chocolate, and would rather be listening to live music or reading a good book than watching TV any day of the week.

With a degree in Speech Communication, I have made my career in a number of fields that have enabled me to teach and train everyone from oil and gas professionals to real estate agents, and now, children. The foundation of education is the same regardless of the age of the student, and I can’t wait to share my adventures in the world of public education with you. I hope that my insight will encourage and inspire you to take an active role in your own child’s school adventures!
