Allow me to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me, my experience, and what led me to create Baby Chick.

A woman with blonde hair smiles at the camera. She is wearing a white medical uniform with a colorful badge that reads "Bassett Meananning" on the chest. With her arms crossed in front of her, she exudes confidence as the baby chick pinned to her collar peeks out adorably from beneath. The background is blurred.

Pregnancy, birth, and motherhood are beautiful and rewarding in so many ways. However, there are also times when they can feel overwhelming, exhausting, and, at times, lonely. I’ve seen it as a doula and educator, and I’ve experienced it personally as a mother. That’s why at Baby Chick, I want you to feel like you have a friend, a professional, and a place to go to that will uplift you, educate you, and inspire you every step of the way. We’re here to remind you that you’re doing a great job and that you are not alone.

Now that you know a little more about me, I hope that I’ll see you more around our site and social pages! I love meeting our amazing community of mothers. 🙂 Welcome to our sisterhood of motherhood here at Baby Chick!
