Bathing your newborn baby can be very intimidating. Many parents worry that they will do it wrong or miss spots or make the baby cold while bathing them. This is why finding a bathtub for your baby that you feel confident using that is also safe is really important. There are many great baby bathtubs out there, and I’m sharing the best ones that I recommend and have used when bathing babies.

This baby bathtub is fantastic–and adorable–for newborns and older to use. This flower is filled with soft, comfortable foam that can fit in pretty much any sink with your baby. It cradles your baby perfectly and keeps them comfortable. Once you are finished, throw it in the washing machine and you can also dry it on gentle cycle. And if you are traveling, it can easily be folded up for transport and storage.
2. Puj Tub | $44.99
The Puj tub is a very popular infant tub. It’s made of really soft foam that fits perfectly inside a pedestal sink to bathe baby. If you have a larger sink than a pedestal sink–I will warn you–it will collapse flat with babysitting in it. The reason for that is the two sides snap together and create the perfect seat for baby, which makes bathing for baby so comfortable for you both when sitting in a pedestal sink. The sides then unsnap (they are magnets), and it can lay flat, so the weight of baby can make it snap open if it’s too large of a sink. I highly recommend it for smaller sinks and travel. It’s less than one inch thick, so the Puj baby bathtub can store flat behind your door to dry.

This baby bathtub is ergonomically designed for baby’s comfort. It has a soft mesh material that holds your baby in place while you wash, rinse and pamper him. It can fit in your larger sink or in your tub. I love how when you fill up the sink or tub with water it lets water in and keeps baby warm, but can easily drain as well. It also has a hook for convenient storage.
5. Skip Hop MOBY Bathtub with Sling | $34.99

Also, the safety disc turns white whenever the water gets too hot. It’s recommended for babies that can sit up and older: 6 – 24 months.
9. Bath Sponge Cushion | $7.99
When you bring home your newborn, you’ll be told not to fully submerge your baby in the water until his or her umbilical cord has fallen off. It usually takes up to 14 days for the cord to fall off, so you have two weeks to do sponge baths with your baby. I found this product to be super helpful during that time because it can keep your baby properly cradled and comfortable during his sponge bath, and then you can put it in the sink and submerge it to protect baby’s head and back when the cord falls off. Great little tool!
10. Summer Infant Bathtub | $17.99
These comfortable bath seats are perfect for large sinks and bathtubs. It offers a large cradling seat with a special bottom bolster to help stabilize your child.
