Bathing your newborn baby can be very intimidating. Many parents worry that they will do it wrong, miss spots, or make the baby cold while bathing them. This is why it is really important to find a bathtub for your baby that you feel confident using and that is also safe. There are many great baby bathtubs out there, and I’m sharing my top picks that I recommend and have used when bathing babies.

1. Blooming Bath | $39.99

This baby bathtub is fantastic–and adorable–for newborns and older to use. This flower is filled with soft, comfortable foam that can fit in pretty much any sink with your baby. It cradles your baby perfectly and keeps them comfortable. Once you are finished, throw it in the washing machine, and you can also dry it on a gentle cycle. And if you are traveling, it can easily be folded up for transport and storage.

2. Puj Tub | $44.99

Buy Now ($44.99)

The Puj tub is a very popular infant tub. It’s made of really soft foam that fits perfectly inside a pedestal sink to bathe baby. If you have a larger sink than a pedestal sink–I will warn you–it will collapse flat with babysitting in it. The reason for that is the two sides snap together and create the perfect seat for baby, which makes bathing for baby so comfortable for you both when sitting in a pedestal sink. The sides then unsnap (they are magnets), and it can lay flat, so the weight of baby can make it snap open if it’s too large of a sink. I highly recommend it for smaller sinks and travel. It’s less than one inch thick, so the Puj baby bathtub can be stored flat behind your door to dry.

3. PRIMO EuroBath | $45.00

PRIMO EuroBath
Buy Now ($24.99)

The PRIMO EuroBath makes bath time safe, fun, and convenient for both baby and parents. It’s like gaining an extra pair of hands for mom and dad! It’s great that the unique anatomical shape keeps baby in the ideal bathing position during bath time and prevents baby from slipping under the water. The extra-large size and double position make the EuroBath an ideal long term investment and perfect from the first day up through the baby’s second birthday.

  • Bathe in two positions: Infant (0-6 months) in a reclining position and Toddler (6-24+ months) in a sitting position
  • Uniquely contoured shape supports the back, arms, and legs and helps prevent baby from slipping underwater.
  • Keeps baby warm and safe during bath time
  • Drain plug for easy draining and clean-up
  • Made from: BPA Free, PVC Free, Phthalate Free, Lead-Free, Non-Toxic, Recyclable Polypropylene
  • Made in USA

This baby bathtub is ergonomically designed for baby’s comfort. It has a soft mesh material that holds your baby in place while you wash, rinse, and pamper him. It can fit in your larger sink or tub. I love how when you fill-up the sink or tub with water, it lets water in and keeps baby warm, but it can also easily drain. It also has a hook for convenient storage.

5. Skip Hop MOBY Bathtub with Sling | $34.99

Buy Now ($30)

This Skip Hop whale-shaped Moby tub grows with your baby through three stages: newborn, infant, and sitters. It offers Smart Sling™ support. The sling locks into two ergonomic positions: higher for full-body support and lower for seated support. This tub has dual-layered mesh and comfort-edge construction, which securely cradles baby from head to toe. I love that the slings adjust to a cushioned seat that comfortably supports babies learning to sit up on their own. You can remove the sling when baby has mastered sitting up and easily bathe him in the spacious tub—no uncomfortable plastic bumps.

6. AquaScale Infant Bathtub | $69.99

This AquaScale tub is a 3-in-1 infant tub, digital thermometer, AND digital scale. It records your baby’s weight while making adjustments for water and movement. How cool is that?! The built-in thermometer automatically monitors the temperature of the water to ensure that the baby is comfortable. The specially designed unique ergonomic shape of the tub has been created to hold babies up to six months old in the perfect position and includes an anti-slip feature. I love that it also grows with your child. Once your baby has learned to sit up, the AquaScale easily converts to a toddler tub, accommodating children up to two years of age. The scale can be used with or without water.

This adorable inflatable padded tub makes bath time so much more fun. It’s super comfy for babies and toddlers and is also perfect for travel since you can deflate and re-inflate it. Also, the safety disc turns white whenever the water gets too hot. It’s recommended for babies that can sit up and older: 6 – 24 months.

9. Bath Sponge Cushion | $7.99

Infant Bath Sponge Cushion
Buy Now ($7.99)

When you bring home your newborn, you’ll be told not to fully submerge your baby in the water until his or her umbilical cord has fallen off. It usually takes up to 14 days for the cord to fall off, so you have two weeks to do sponge baths with your baby. I found this product to be super helpful during that time because it can keep your baby properly cradled and comfortable during his sponge bath, and then you can put it in the sink and submerge it to protect baby’s head and back when the cord falls off. Great little tool!

10. Summer Infant Bathtub | $17.99

These comfortable bath seats are perfect for large sinks and bathtubs. It offers a large cradling seat with a special bottom bolster to help stabilize your child. Features include a larger frame for newborns and bigger babies, deluxe head support for infants, a soft mesh sling seat, bolstered edges for added comfort, and a two-position backrest. The fabric is also mildew-resistant, easy to clean, and dries quickly. We love that! It also folds flat, so it is easy to store away or take with you when traveling with baby.

Is there a bathtub that you used with your little one that you loved that isn’t on the list?
