Mocktail & Cocktail Recipe: Afternoon Tea

I hope you're starting to see the sun come out and some warmer weather. Here's the perfect cocktail and mocktail recipe to enjoy it with!

Spring has sprung! We are ready to kick off the weekend with something light and refreshing since these temperatures are rising. This Afternoon Tea recipe from Weights + Measures is the perfect thing, and we can’t wait to enjoy a glass shortly. 😉 (And if you’re preggo like me, I’ll be sipping on the mocktail version—find that recipe at the bottom of the post.) We hope you’ll join us! Here’s how to make it.

Afternoon Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 1 oz chamomile honey syrup
  • 0.5 oz strawberry puree
  • 3 oz fresh grapefruit
  • topped with sparkling water
  • garnish with fresh strawberries & edible flowers

Step 1: Grab your glass, cocktail shaker, and ingredients.

Step 2: In your shaker, measure out and add 1.5 oz of tequila, 1 ounce of chamomile honey syrup, and 3 ounces of fresh grapefruit.

Step 3: Shake that baby up in your cocktail shaker and pour it into your glass.

Step 4: Then top it off with sparkling water.

Step 5: Slowly drizzle over half an ounce of strawberry puree.

Step 6: To finish it off, garnish it with a fresh strawberry and edible flowers.

This cocktail is gorgeous and so refreshing. The perfect Spring time drink!

Here’s what you need to do for the MOCKTAIL version of this yummy libation. It’s simple. All you have to do is substitute the tequila with extra sparkling water. Viola! To make the chamomile honey syrup boil 3/4 cup of water, 1/3 cup of honey, and two chamomile bags. Then top it off with one ounce of strawberry puree and garnish with edible flowers and a strawberry. Delicious!!
