What Did We Discuss?

In this episode, I chat with Marlie about finding strength in motherhood. We discuss postpartum, fitness after baby, fitting workouts into your busy day, and more. Here are several of the questions that we covered in our conversation:

  • New mom life is busy, to say the least. How do you recommend new moms balance health and fitness into their busy schedules?
  • How can new moms create healthy habits and routines that fit into their lifestyles and busy schedules? What’s a realistic routine?
  • What are your top tips for how to get back into working out after baby?
  • Can you share a bit about your postpartum journey?
  • Did your perspective on health and self-care change after having your first baby?
  • What are some of your favorite types of workouts or exercises for new moms?
  • How do you recommend moms stay motivated to continue their fitness journeys amidst the demands of motherhood?
  • What are your favorite wellness hacks for busy moms?
  • What are your top tips for new moms looking to prioritize themselves and their health?

Final Thoughts

Marlie Cohen in workout attire performs a side plank on a yoga mat, smiling. Two young children rest beside her on the mat, one lying down and the other leaning on the first. The setting appears to be a living room with a fireplace in the background.

Motherhood is an incredible journey, but it’s not without its hurdles—especially when it comes to balancing your own needs with those of your little one. Postpartum fitness and wellness isn’t about “bouncing back”; it’s about rediscovering your strength, finding joy in movement, and creating habits that support your well-being.

I hope this episode inspires you to take small, intentional steps toward prioritizing your health and happiness. Remember, your journey is unique, and every step counts.
