Surprise! Hilaria Baldwin has secretly welcomed a new baby.
Hilaria Baldwin took to her personal social media account to share the news. She put a cheeky poll on her Instagram story under a photo of her and all of her children (plus one) laying on the bed. She asked her followers, “how many babies do you see?” A newborn cradles her closely.

This marks the sixth child she and her husband, actor and comedian, Alec Baldwin. They are parents to their children, daughter Carmen, and sons Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, and baby Eduardo. Alec is also father to one child, Ireland Baldwin, born in October of 1995 during his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.
No Stranger to Press
Hilaria is no stranger to press recently, though a baby announcement makes for happier reports. She ruffled feathers late last year when it was revealed that she may have been fabricating some of her familial roots . . . and talking with a fake accent to match! Her talent biography states that she was born in Mallorca, Spain and she has long told publications and reports that she came to the United States to attend New York University.
After the controversy took the media by storm, the podcast co-host and author, took to her Instagram to speak on the subject. She described her language by saying, “I am that person that if I’ve been speaking a lot of Spanish, I tend to mix them, and if I’m speaking a lot of English, then I mix that,” Hilaria said of her accent. “When I try to work, I try to enunciate a little more, but if I get nervous or upset or something, then I start to mix the two.” Though she does not exactly address fabricating any part of her origins, she does admit she was “born in Boston” but says she is “culturally diverse.”

Congrats, Hilaria and Alec Baldwin!
After a full day of speculation, well-wishes, and some honest confusion . . . Hilaria Baldwin came back to her personal Instagram account to clear up (some) of the questions surrounding her baby news. The 37-year-old podcast host wrote, “We are so in love with our daughter, Lucia. Just like your brothers and sisters, you are a dream come true”, finishing the message with a simple white heart.

The newborn looks to be full-term, with her perfectly plump cheeks and long fingers stretched out against her angelic face. Lucia joins their family just 5 months after her brother Eduardo. So far, representation for the family has declined to comment further on details surrounding the birth, and commenting on the two posts have been disabled. We hope for a more in-depth look at the little one’s journey because if there is one thing we know about family – there is no wrong way to create one! Congratulations!
