Mocktail & Cocktail Recipe: Irish Mug

Spring and St. Patrick’s Day are just around the corner. This Irish Mug cocktail is the perfect way to welcome the weekend. What mom doesn’t love a little kick in her coffee and whipped cream??

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Jameson
  • 0.5 oz crème de menthe
  • 6 oz hot coffee
  • Garnish with whipped cream and a mint leaf

Step 1: Grab your glass and pour in a warm cup of coffee–around 6 oz.

Step 2: Add 1.5 oz of Jameson to your glass.

Step 3: Add a half an ounce of crème de menthe.

Step 4: Top it off with some whipped cream. 🙂

Step 5: And garnish it with a mint leaf.

A nice, warm drink to spice up your day!

Here’s what you need to do for the MOCKTAIL version of this Irish Mug. Pour your 6 oz of hot coffee into your glass, then substitute the Jameson and the crème de menthe with 1 oz of mint syrup. Top that off with whipped cream and a mint leaf. The presentation will match perfectly to the cocktail version and it tastes delicious.
