Cute Bathing Suits That Cover Stretch Marks
Finding a cute swimsuit that looks good on my body and also covers what I want it to cover–like those new tiger stripes I’ve recently earned–can be tough. I’m pretty sure most moms can relate and that some also have to deal with stretch marks from pregnancy, breastfeeding, etc. Now don’t get me wrong, we can show our stretch marks poolside with pride! There’s nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of. Obviously. Our kids need to see us being confident with our bodies. But if you’re like me and you feel more confident being a bit more modest in your swimsuit choices then I have some great options for you. These swimmies will help you enjoy summer, beach days, and pool days in style and with confidence. 🙂
Cute Bathing Suits That Cover Stretch Marks
Thankfully one-piece swimsuits are back in style and more and more women are wearing them. Here are some great one-piece bathing suits that will help with coverage.
This is a gorgeous bathing suit that has such amazing detail. I love that it still shows some skin, but that it covers what I want it to–stretch marks on the tummy and around the breasts. If you’re need more size options, here’s a stunning plus size option as well as a more affordable similar style option.
The cute detail, the cutout, and the color make this swimsuit a keeper! I love full coverage on the bottom so this piece is great for the beautiful plus size mamas.
This swimsuit just screams summer and fun to me! The scallop bandeau top is super cute, and I really like how you can have straps or go without.
For full tummy control and support, you can’t beat the Miraclesuit. This one-piece is perfect for the post-baby body. The mesh side cutouts and flattering criss cross fabric on the font make this a fashionable and beautiful suit.
I love this swimsuit. I love it so much that I got it myself! This flirty over the shoulder ruffle and bold red color are stunning. It’s perfect for every woman, not just us moms who are post-baby. If you’re needing additional sizes, here is a great plus size option as well as another similar style option that is less expensive.
How adorable is this bathing suit, right? It’s such a happy pink, provides full coverage on the tummy and bum, and it’s reversible! So you are basically getting two suits in one, which is a good thing because it is a little pricer. But the quality is awesome. Love!
If you’re wanting some two-pice swimsuit options, I’ve got you! Here are some tankinis and high waist bathing suits that I think you’ll love that still cover up any stretch marks that you’re trying to hide.
The scallop design on this tankini is super cute. It’s a great feminine detail that makes this suit extra fun. And who doesn’t love a black swimsuit? They’re always so slimming. Here’s also a similar style that’s plus size.
If you’re looking for a swimsuit that doesn’t cling to the body, this is a great option. The draping on this suit is very flattering especially for moms that just had a baby. And I love the color navy. So classic!
I love a good high waisted bathing suit and this suit is too cute. It has a great design and it provides good tummy support. The cutouts on the high waisted bottoms are just enough to show some skin but also covers anything you don’t want to show. Here is the top piece that matches these bottoms. Love it!
As you can see cutouts are on trend and they add great style to a suit. This high waist bathing suit is great for the full figured mama. I love the twist details on the sides and the knot detail on the bikini top. The pieces are sold separately. Here’s the link for the top!
I think everyone looks good in stripes. It’s a staple that should be in everyone’s closet. This classic tankini is great for all shapes and sizes and I love that it’s reversible. On the other side is sold blue. And here’s another one with a larger stripe print that is also reversible!
Here’s another great tankini. This mahogany color is delicious! They also sell it in black if you prefer a black bathing suit. The straps are my favorite detail with this suit, and I like the crisscross design on the back.
How fun is this swimsuit?! I love a good ruffle. This J. Crew gingham swimsuit is too cute to pass up. The pattern is great, you can add halter straps or tuck them away, and the high rise bottoms hold everything in. What’s not to love? The pieces are sold separately so here is the link to the bottoms.
Tips For Getting Rid of Stretch Marks
All of these bathing suits are great options to hide the stretch marks that you might have gained from pregnancy or breastfeeding. You may have been doing a few things to try and prevent getting stretch marks, but if you already have them and you’re looking to get rid of them (or at least reduce the appearance of your stretch marks), here’s a few natural tips that can help:
Castor oil has been used to treat a number of skin problems. For example, wrinkles, age spots, moles, dark spots, fine lines and pimples. It can also help get rid of stretch marks. Here’s how:
- Apply some castor oil to the stretch marks and gently massage the area in circular motions for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Wrap the area with a thin, cotton cloth. Using a hot water bottle or a heating pad, apply some heat to the affected area for at least a half an hour.
- Repeat this process daily for a minimum of one month to notice positive results.
Aloe vera has many soothing properties and can treat many skin issues including getting rid of stretch marks. There are a couple of ways to apply it:
- You can directly rub aloe vera gel on the affected skin area, leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse the skin with lukewarm water.
- Another option is to make a mixture with one-fourth cup of aloe vera gel, oil from 10 vitamin E capsules and oil from five vitamin A capsules. Rub this mixture onto the skin until fully absorbed. Repeat this process daily.
Another simple way to lessen stretch marks is to use lemon juice. Lemon juice is naturally acidic which helps heal and reduce stretch marks, acne, and other scars.
- One option is to rub fresh lemon juice gently onto the stretch marks using circular motions. Allow the lemon juice to soak into your skin for at least 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
- Another option is to mix equal quantities of cucumber juice and lemon juice and apply the mixture on the stretch marks.
Happy summer! Hope you enjoyed our list!
