Laura is a former Teacher of the Deaf. In 2018, Laura began teaching sign language to other moms in her moms group to help foster early communication skills and lessen the frustrations and tantrums many were experiencing. Word quickly spread. She now teaches sign language to moms of babies and toddlers through Instagram, courses, and workshops, using true ASL signs and proven strategies. Laura has a passion for bringing awareness to the misinformation printed in mass-marketed "baby sign language books" and the importance of honoring the language and culture of the Deaf.
