Paul Quinn

Dr. Paul Quinn has over 30 years of progressive experience in clinical practice, education, and administration in acute care hospitals and tertiary care. Serving in various nursing director roles, his administrative responsibilities have included nursing as well as other clinical departments such as the Emergency Department, Critical Care, and Medical-Surgical units. Special areas of interest and expertise include strategic planning, operational leadership, communication, and nurse/patient satisfaction and engagement.

Licensed and certified as a Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Quinn’s expertise includes management of women throughout the lifespan. He is the owner and originator of the website PrentalPossibilites.com and the author of books published internationally related to women’s health issues. A published author and national speaker, Dr. Quinn has special interest in nurses’ workplace issues, nursing workforce issues, and the promotion of men in nursing. His latest book, “Prenatal Possibilities…Recipes for a Healthy Pregnancy and Beyond” was released in 2023 and has been featured on blogs and national TV.

Dr. Quinn earned a PhD in nursing from the City University of New York Graduate Center in New York City. Additionally, he holds a nursing diploma from St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University, also in New York City. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the College of Mt. St. Vincent, Riverdale, New York, and an Advanced Certificate in Nurse Midwifery from the State University of New York at Downstate. He was inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Nurse Midwives in 2022.
