Britta Lundgren

Dr. Britta Lundgren was born in New Haven, CT., and raised in Guilford, CT. From a young age, Britta had an interest in nutrition and health and wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Dietetics. Dr. Lundgren started her career as a weight loss dietitian with the aim of helping patients make positive lifestyle changes for healthier living. Britta continued her education at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Lundgren began practicing dentistry in Germany before returning to the United States. As a valued team member of the CarolinasDentist, Porters Neck location, Dr. Lundgren continues to provide excellent oral health care for her patients using her education, background, and experience to provide healthy smiles. Britta believes she has the best job in the world — helping to take someone out of pain, improve their confidence and smile while building lasting relationships along the way. Dr. Lundgren enjoys spending time with her two girls, Heidi and Greta, and visiting family in Connecticut and New York. Britta enjoys travel and one of her favorite spots in Europe. Dr. Lundgren is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society.
