Who are the Chick Contributors: Sarah Ring
Well hello there, I’m Sarah! It’s with great pride and enthusiasm that I’ve joined with Nina as a contributing blogger at Baby Chick! I’m a stay at home mommy to two dapper little gents and wife to my own southern Prince Charming. I love playing hostess, but you’re more likely to receive an invitation for shopping and margaritas than to a tea party from me. I’m traditional with a mix of modern and classic with a touch of trend. I am Mommy Chic(k). And like many of you I’ve been searching for an outlet that celebrates just that, a place that provides inspiration to parenting with grace, style, and a sense of humor. I can assure you, at Baby Chick, you’ve finally found what you’ve been looking for. Here our passion for celebrating the every day will be reflected in my down to earth posts on parenting, home decor, fashion, product reviews and simple soirées. I can’t wait to share with you!
With our Mother’s Day launch, I can’t help but to reflect on what being a mother means to me personally. For me, motherhood is an ever-evolving and changing part of life. We grow and we learn alongside our littles and our hearts swell with pride as they reach each milestone and accomplishment. It’s something new everyday and my sons have certainly helped me to improve all aspects of myself. Motherhood has humbled me, it’s increased my patience and expanded my heart, and it’s awakened a sense of adventure and playfulness. It’s given me a sexy new confidence and I’m so proud of who I’ve become because of them.
“Mommy” is by far the best job title I’ve ever had. In fact I’m so honored to get to parent these little boys that Mother’s Day gifts and celebrations aren’t necessary in the slightest, but let’s be honest… Who am I to turn down an opportunity for gifts and champagne?!
In an effort to introduce myself a little better and to provide a glimpse at my personal style, I’d love to share my Mommy Chic(k) Mother’s Day gift guide with you! I hope it strikes inspiration for celebrating the special mama in your life or even to treat yourself. Happy Mother’s Day and be sure to be on the look out for my upcoming posts on Baby Chick!
