Styled To A Tee

Styled To A Tee

Let’s be honest, we’d all love to live in the world of our favorite fashion bloggers, styled from head to toe in gorgeous outfits, Manolos on the daily and taking the most perfect Instagram pics with seemingly no effort at all. Instead, your much more likely to find us in our favorite Lululemon leggings with our only accessory being the grande latte we’ve been sipping on since 7am (and it’s almost noon). In effort to step up our style, we’ve grabbed our favorite Baby Chick Tees in Limited Edition prints and paired them with pieces that you already have in your closet, because who doesn’t love a twist on a classic tee that’s comfortable and Mommy Chic(k) all at the same time?!

1. Printed blazer, boyfriend jeans and edgy heels.

We’ve all worn a blazer and jeans with a tee, but we’re elevating this look with a few changes to the classic combination. With our ‘Who Run the World’ tee, some cute slim boyfriend jeans, and the right accessories {jewelry + heels, of course}, they’re all the perfect pairing for this ensemble! I envision this look being worn anywhere from PTA meetings and volunteer fundraisers to casual Friday’s at the office and power lunches with all of the fabulous girl bosses you know. Because “Who run the world”? YOU do, mama. So put on your favorite Beyoncé track and stomp down the street like you own it!

2. Destroyed denim shorts and strappy sandals.

Nothing is sexier in the summer time than denim short shorts paired with strappy sandals. Throw on our Mombie tee (available for a limited time only) for a sweet look for a sunny day! Just add a tan!  Because let’s be honest, all of us exhausted “Mombies” could use a sun safe faux glow on those all too often yoga pant covered legs (Or is that just me? Ha!)… In fact, if you’d like an easy routine to bring your beauty look back to life, I’d love for you to check out my “Perfect 10 Face“. It’s an easy way to elevate this casual cool outfit to the next level. From Mombie to hottie in several effortless steps, this look is ready for any play date on your calendar!

3. Printed shorts with a pop of color.

We love the idea of punching up our Vintage White :: Mommy Chic(k) tee with a pair of printed shorts and colorful accents. As someone who tends to gravitate to black, accessories and shoes are where I like to introduce color and this look has plenty of it! Extra style tip: knot your tee and show off that waist! I can’t wait to wear this to many a backyard bash this summer with all of my Mommy Chic(k) girlfriends, their hubbies, and littles. This look is girlie, fun, and totally Instagram worthy! I’ll be taking some chic snapshots with my little fam and tagging @thebabychick for sure. I hope you’ll take a summer selfie and do the same!

4. Midi skirt, Major style.

We love a skirt that’s long enough to allow us to bend over and pick up babies, but short enough to show off a great shoe! A great midi skirt with our Mommy Chic(k) tee is a lovely and ladylike classic! I’ll be slipping into this gorgeous pink skirt for a much needed girls night out with my besties as soon as possible! There is nothing more Mommy Chic(k) than taking care of yourself with a rejuvenating and relaxing night out with friends. This sweet look will be perfect for recharging the batteries with great conversation and a cocktail or two with my best girls!

How to get the look: Statement necklace | Mommy Chic(k) tee | Skirt | Dress Sandal

Show us your style! If you have one of our Baby Chick tees, we want to see! Snap a selfie and tag us on Instagram @thebabychick and we’ll share your look with our followers!

Have a fabulous Memorial Day weekend!
