fall beauty products

This weekend, I popped into my local Sephora and with the help of one of their beauty professionals, I snagged a few fall finds I just know my fellow Mommy Chicks are going to love! I adore my basic beauty essentials – check out my daily make up routine HERE – but I am always on the lookout for products that are easy to use and can update my look with minimal effort seasonally. Making small additions to your makeup collection this autumn can really amp up your style. Here my top trend picks this season.

1. Urban Decay’s Newest Naked Palette, Smoky: $54

If you’re familiar with UD’s past palette’s in the Naked collection, then you already know they are amazing! This fall they’ve really stepped up their color selection, focusing in on that beloved smokey eye every girl covets. This palette is going to be my date night go-to well into winter. My Sephora beauty guru advised I grab one quick, as they tend to sell out near the holidays!

2. Bite Beauty’s Frozen Berries Matte Creme Lipstick in Barberry: $24

I was told by my makeup artist that Bite Beauty is a newcomer to Sephora, but not to be overlooked. The pigment, finish and shade that is just right for fall hands down has to be Barberry from the Frozen Berries Matte Creme collection. It’s a muted orchid that is the perfect combination of pink and plum. Totally wearable from carpool to cocktails and beautiful on all complexions.

3. Cover FX Contour Kit: $48

Yes ladies, contouring isn’t going anywhere for fall, so arm yourself with this Sephora exclusive by Cover FX. There is a kit for every skin shade so our Sephora pro definitely recommends that you stop in for a consult to find your best match. She also warns that these FLY off the shelves, so get them while their hot, ladies! When she demoed the bronzer and highlight combo on me, I can immediately see why. I look polished but natural. It’s a game changer.

4. Laura Mercier Silk Creme Oil Free Photo Edition Foundation: $48

You’ve heard me sing the praises of Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer in my Perfect 10 Face post for everyday wear. But, on the occasion you’re going to be photographed or perhaps need a bit more flawless coverage, allow me to introduce you to this most fabulous foundation. It’s oil free so it really helps tame any unwanted shininess and it goes on like butter.

5. Roloxin Lift Instant Smoothing Mask: $110

I have to be perfectly honest about this mask; it was a total impulse purchase and I really expected to be disappointed. I was sincerely so surprised when it worked! I had a girlfriend ask if I’d had Botox, which of course made me all kinds of giddy!

I was told about these smoothing masks when I was talking to our Sephora beauty genius. I was telling her about how recently I was feeling like my skin looked tired, but that I was at the awkward age where I still suffer the occasional teenage-style blemish, but I’m also hoping to stave off granny-style wrinkles. She informed me of these masks, but because they are only available online, I just had to take her word for it. She assured me I wouldn’t regret it and when I got home I pulled the trigger. Let me tell you, I’m so glad I did! Bring me your tired, sleepless, newborn, mom under eye circles, bring me your stress lined foreheads from watching your toddler take a dive off the sofa on the daily… I’ve found the holy grail, and I’m sharing the secret!!
